Course
Objective
Since its creation in the mid 1990's, Java has taken the programming world by storm. Although it is derived from C++, it does have the subtleties and complexities that are inherent in C++. It is well known that the core language of Java is much simpler to learn than C++, and Java provides an extensive library of classes and methods to make application development extremely simple. A fundamental understanding of the language is the starting point for a broad range of Java applications, such as networking, JSP's, JDBC, GUI programming, etc.
